Remote
Monitoring
St
Michael Security has invested heavily in the latest
security technology. Controlled from our National
Monitoring Centre we have integrated the best products
in: Access Control, CCTV and Patrol Management.
Utilising equipment such as: GPS tracking and RFID
(Radio Frequency Identification) so we can monitor our
personnel remotely.
Our
advanced system uses dark screen technology, which
alerts our skilled technical operators immediately of
all events that trigger an alarm. Our staff then views
the event and makes an informed decision whether to
alert the police to prevent a crime; issue an audible
warning message directly to deter the offender on site;
notify our mobile response team; or alert the key holder
or emergency services to attend the premises.
We
also use the award winning M-Set Guard Patrol System and
the latest swipe
card
systems which are remotely linked to our Monitoring
Centre. The on-site security personnel check-in at
established locations to ensure patrols are performed
thoroughly. The technology also reduces the need for
guards to report their activity directly to the
monitoring centre as the system automatically updates at
headquarters. This enables us to remotely monitor our
staff to ensure optimum performance in a cost effective
way.
We
have also implemented a full range of communication
methods for guards to report-in and book on/off with the
Monitoring Centre. These include: Instant Messaging,
Text Messaging and Email. They are all designed to
reduce the amount of time spent reporting and increase
the efficiency of our personnel.
The
technology can also be used to monitor and a range of operational
tasks including:
-
Remote
Access – for deliveries out of hours, remote
access can verify the delivery, log arrival and
departure times and authorise entry onto the
premises
-
Remote
Patrolling – areas are checked through the use of
CCTV to ensure they are secure while staff are
attending to other duties, or during hours of
shut-down, or low activity
-
Personnel –
checking who is on site, what work is being carried
out, arrival and departure times and visual checking
to ensure work is actioned as instructed
-
Health
and welfare – checking that staff and guards on
site are safe
-
Vehicle
tracking and lone worker system - monitor high
value loads and people in high-risk, vulnerable
roles through surveillance equipment
CCTV
Installation
St
Michael Security does not install CCTV equipment but we
do work in close association with a number of accredited
installers. In this capacity St Michael Security
can offer a consultative approach in upgrading your
existing surveillance systems or installing a completely
new security camera system, whichever meets your needs.
